just start off my brainstorming.


what has happened in your life lately?


if anything good/bad/sad/etc. has occured in your life lately, or really ever, that you would like to express, jot it down.


it is very important that you put yourself and your emotions into the song.

i would say write lyrics that goes with the music.... if the music makes you happy, make ';happy'; lyrics... if it makes you sad, make ';gloomy'; lyrics.... or you can make it a story, or sequence of events..... also you could try writing a poem and write music that goes with it, then make a repeating stanza for the chorus and so on.... be creative... write music based on how you are feeling, how things around you make you feel, about your memories and how they make you feel, maybe about current events... whatever moves you! write about that.

dont listen to other songs wen writing. have no song in ur head. dont ryhme to much
just write your true feelings. songs just come to you from inspiration. sometimes you will have a tough time but the lyrics will come! don't worry. =P
