Grey Goose vs Russian Standard vodka! Vodka lovers need you advice!?

Which vodka better, smoother, higher quality, better for luxury gift etc......

WHY?Grey Goose vs Russian Standard vodka! Vodka lovers need you advice!?
I agree they are overpriced, especially compared to their quality. Grey goose is especially so with it's medicinal overtase and lingering aftertaste.

Armadale and Jewel of Russia are considered the best vodkas. When you move off the top shelf, If you like potato based vodkas, try Chopin. If you like grain based, I recommend Ketel One (wheat),Stoli (wheat) or Absolut (wheat). Actually the best vodkas should have almost no taste and certainly not a medicinal taste. Not like a good tequilla, scotch or rum, where the taste and ';nose' is part of the experience.

Grey goose is good, but it is horribly overpriced compared to it's quality. There are a few brands like patron, voodoo and Krystal that preted to be high quality when in fact they just have great bottles and great marketing companies. GREY GOOSE IS JUST VODKA MADE IN FRANCE BY THE BICCARDI CONGLOMERATE.. John Stossel on the show 20/20 did a segment where he blindfolded a bunch of ';Grey Goose Only'; snobs, then serving them different brands of vodka - both cheap and expensive resulting in NONE of them being able to identify their ';Grey Goose';! Even more of a RIP OFF is Nuvo. These morons claim to be the spirit of paris, but they are a british company and they flaunt that they can't even spell NOUVEAU. Duh!!!!Grey Goose vs Russian Standard vodka! Vodka lovers need you advice!?
both are overpriced and not too impressive

between the 2, i would go with russian standard, but honestly, if you want something that says class, go with Belvedere or Chopin

if you want something really high quality, but don't want to break the bank, see if you can find Tito's Handmade, its fairly cheap, and beats most top-shelf vodkas in flavor.

what website? and vodka preference is all really personal... its just when i think of ';classy'; vodka, i think of Belvedere and Chopin.
I wish you the best of luck in your drinking efforts. I believe that the best solution is Chopin, which is made from potatoes, the way that Vodka is supposed to be made. Chopin has a smoothness that is second to none. A real quality Vodka.
Russian Standard vodka! Why not. Russia-Poland the to go countries for vodka.
Grey Goose is better known, but I prefer quality over name recognition so RS.
I would go with Russian Standard.
Goose.
