One piece of good advice that you would have given the 16 year old you?

What would you have listened to from a grown up you?One piece of good advice that you would have given the 16 year old you?
I should have listened to my father, he told me not to marry a certain lass, but would I listen, no. now guess who's own his own once more.One piece of good advice that you would have given the 16 year old you?
wed your best friend,,,,,,,if their the opposit sex,,,,,,,Duck Taping you to this chair till you'll say you will go to colledge is for your own good,,,,,Use that thing for peeing only,,,,,
without Life there can be no Death but without Death there can be no Life. Do not fear Death for there is no Death, only a change of worlds. Ask your Ancestors about the past and life. listen and heed their advise.
A BIG ditto to the credit cards! Also, school IS worth it, so study hard!
';Listen Julia, the years, and your youth, will fly by';
Don't worry about the cool people. Those people will be changing your oil at Wal-Mart.
Don't be in such a hurry to become an adult.......

Enjoy the age you are at the present, you are only that age once....capture the memories, adulthood comes soon enough....and with it the responsibilities of life.
Always be true to yourself and you'll never go far wrong, but when you do, don't worry its all a part of life
I did listen to the grown up and they told me to ';say no';.

That no extended to dating, drinking, drugs, sex, crime, foolishness, getting into a stranger's car, etc. It's the best advice I ever got.
Dont get your hopes up then you can never be dissapointed.

Negative I know but i think i enjoyed life at 16 when I felt no one owned me anything and what i have realized more in the 7 years that have passed is that you really only get out of life what you put in. The harder you work at something the more you will get out of it.
Whatever decision you make,don't do it in anger..................
I'd know stuff about me that would make it impossible for me to deny.

Yes, you can exercise, get off your butt.
Let love wait. Academics are far more crucial.

At 16 I was no different from most teens before and since. I wouldn't have listened to a grownup whether it were me or anybody else. I take that back. I would have listened to my pastor.
I don't necessarily think you need to be a senior citizen to know you could give some good advice to the 16 year old you. I'd say to the 16 year old me who had just started working and would shortly due to be entering the world of going out to pubs and clubs - don't drink too much and don't be such a smartarse, but whatever you do don't waste time - you may think you have forever but you really don't.
Trust your instincts. Don't let anyone else make decisions for you.
be happy with yourself the way you are
Be true to your self and never try to be someone you are not.

Always be able to put your self in the other guys place.
learn to express yourself clearly.
Steer clear of credit cards and only spend what you can afford.
People are born with the inherent need to do good and to be a good person. Caring about others is nothing to be ashamed of.
parents aren't always wrong
Not to marry so young.
Never do you anything that you will regret or be ashamed of later
to young to think about marriage!!!!!! listen!!!!!
I would tell myself to stay in school and not get married. At sixteen I would take anything an adult said with a grain of salt.
When I was 16, I thought I knew it all and now I realize there is so much more to know. I would say study hard and go to university.
Stop thinking you're better than everyone else and just get along more with people. You never know when you'll need them.
Take a year off from college to pursue your dream, if it doesn't work out out you can always go back. And drop that JERK you call a boyfriend!!
My Mom once told me ';Never let them know what you are really thinking.';
dont wish your life away
Doesn't matter I wouldn't have listened. I thought I knew it all. How wrong could I be!!
