Can you give me a smoking advice?10 pts for good answer.?

Hi I am not a chain smoker or actually I don't smoke, only when I am with my friends that is like 2 or 3 times a week. I usually like Marlboro lights but recently I started smoking Pall Mall Green, Mint. What do you think about this? How about the tar content of Pall Mall, or should I just go on with the Marlboro? Can you give me a smoking advice?10 pts for good answer.?
Doesn't matter what you smoke, the nicotine in them is one of the most addictive drugs known to man. It starts you off slow and then a few years down the road you are up to 3 or 4 packs a day.

If you look on the side of the pack it says in plain english, if you smoke thes you will DIE. It wont be a quick and easy death like an overdose on coke, but a slow and painful one.

Most people have good excuses for not giving up smoking. Makes them feel good, relieves tension, helps them relax. They are all excuses that sound good but the fact is they are all lies. It is not that they don't want to quit, they cant quit.

My whole family uses tobacco in one form or another. Wife, son in law, daughter, 3 granddaughter's. I hate to sound like a broken record but quit while you can. If that is all you are smoking you should have no problem quitting. Can you give me a smoking advice?10 pts for good answer.?
Well, i dont know if you realize this or not, but so called ';light'; cigarettes have the EXACT same amount of tar and nicotine as regular cigarettes... what is different is that there are microscopic holes in the sides of the filter that allow air to enter as you take a drag on the cigarette.

If you put more of the filter into your mouth, cover the holes with your fingers or clip the filter a bit, you will actually get the SAME amount of tar and nicotine that is in a regular cigarette.

I am actually winging myself off of cigarettes by using the new camel snus... I have not smoked a cigarette in over a month, the snus take away the craving, and I am now in the process of eliminating them...

I am down to 4 or 5 of the smokeless tobacco a day... after 10 years of smoking over a pack a day...

Good Luck

How do light cigarettes trick the smoking machines?

Tobacco companies designed light cigarettes with tiny pinholes on the filters. These “filter vents” dilute cigarette smoke with air when light cigarettes are “puffed” on by smoking machines, causing the machines to measure artificially low tar and nicotine levels.

Many smokers do not know that their cigarette filters have vent holes. The filter vents are uncovered when cigarettes are smoked on smoking machines. However, filter vents are placed just millimeters from where smokers put their lips or fingers when smoking. As a result, many smokers block the vents—which actually turns the light cigarette into a regular cigarette.

Some cigarette makers increased the length of the paper wrap covering the outside of the cigarette filter, which decreases the number of puffs that occur during the machine test. Although tobacco under the wrap is still available to the smoker, this tobacco is not burned during the machine test. The result is that the machine measures less tar and nicotine levels than is available to the smoker.

Because smokers, unlike machines, crave nicotine, they may inhale more deeply; take larger, more rapid, or more frequent puffs; or smoke a few extra cigarettes each day to get enough nicotine to satisfy their craving. This is called “compensating,” and it means that smokers end up inhaling more tar, nicotine, and other harmful chemicals than the machine-based numbers suggest.
They're pretty much the same as far as tar content and what not. It's just a different flavor. This is cliche, but do your lungs a favor and just stop. I was a big-time smoker for years but I dropped it. I feel wayyyy better.
there is no safe cigarette just remember that the health benefits are none and this habit will eventually kill you down the road I was a thirty year smoker and thank god I quit I had family and friends die from this habit be smart and stop now
Hi, it is interesting question to answer; smoking is bed for our health. when we smoking cigarette we will be living in short time i had the information about it that many people died over 8000 in the world. that is all
I hate to be the tool here, but that's how I started smoking. I was up to a pack a day before I really realized that I was a smoker and I've been trying to quit for years now. Get out while you still can.
i think u shldn go any of those n quit smokin as you still have time to quit completely. once u become a chain smoker it wld be tough to quit. and as a matter of fact smoking itself is harmful no matter which brand you try.
I have a preference for Camel Wides. And Natural American Spirit, mmmmm. Natural American has no additives, pure natural tobacco. I don't know if that makes it a safer cigarette though.
Marlboro is manlier, you'll live longer if you smoke that than Pall Mall. True fact.Pall Mall has too much tar. I recommend Marlboro.

Also, it's a lot less addicting. Hope this helps!
You do not have to choose the lesser of two evils.

YOU CAN CHOOSE NOT TO SMOKE
If you're smoking socially, just grab a brand that you enjoy. But don't force yourself to smoke just 'cause other people are.
Pall Mall has more tar content than Marlboro lights. I personally prefer Marlboro or Camel Crush. When you're craving for that minty taste, you just crush it :)
I don't suck on them cancer sticks anymore, but between the two I would go with marborlo. If you want something better, try camel crush.
Casual smoking? Why not cigars then? If you're outside the US, you can't go wrong with Cubans.
smoking cigarettes is nastyyyyy!
Marlboros, they r more manly
Smoking is gay and if fu*ks up your lungs.
don't smoke just to look cool for your ';friends';
.....IQ 80..........
It really doesn't matter in the end does it?
don't smoke because the smoking is very dangers for our health
