Do you find that it's generally so much easier to give good advice than to take it?

Hell yes.


I am the expert on relationships from the outside. I can even dissect my own behavior and see exactly where I went wrong in each of my relationships and the motives behind it.


But I still don't trust myself to put that knowledge into practice and get involved again.

Of course, I think it`s easier to say what should be done then do it yourself. But it is up to each individual to think about this and start working on each problem or issue at a time. One thing I do for myself is I give myself the advice I would give to a friend, I answer my own questions and it has helped me tremendously to work through my problems and my doubts and fears.Do you find that it's generally so much easier to give good advice than to take it?
Its always easier to see a solution to someone else's problem because you don't have all of those pesky emotions to cloud your vision or consequences to live with. That's why I think being a therapist would be such an easy job.
No I am open to good advice, but it also depends on how it is given. some people have good intentions, but don't deliver them in a positive way, which throws some people off.
yea I think that is is easier to give advice than to take it. I don't know why, because if you are able to give it you should be able to take it
All too often. I know exactly what to do when other people are in my situation. But when it happens to me. the wisest person ever could tell me what to do and i still wouldn't be sure.
I'm terrible but, in my defense, I'm not seeking advice. I will stumble around until I have a talk with myself and then I'll wise up.
