I've just passed my test, what advice can you give regarding driving on my own for the first time?

1. never forget your blind spot on your left side

2. always be aware of your surroundings so nothing takes you by surprise

3. enjoy yourself because once you start driving alone, you get the hang of it rather quickly and it will become second nature to you like breathingI've just passed my test, what advice can you give regarding driving on my own for the first time?
Realize the importance of building a good driving record. Smart drivers are safe drivers. And, safe drivers qualify for reduced insurance rates.

Dont drink and wear your seat belts.

Car crashes top the list as the leading cause of death among 16-24 year-olds, most resulting from reckless behavior and drunk driving.I've just passed my test, what advice can you give regarding driving on my own for the first time?
I'm 61 years old and have an excellent driving record, not that I haven't had some close calls. Accidents were avoided because, as I taught my kids, who also have excellent records, 95% OF SAFE DRIVING IS IN ANTICIPATION.. That means leaving a few minutes early and driving at an appropriate speed for the conditions and paying attention. When something goes wrong, wether it's a patch of ice or fog or another driver doing something stupid, and there are lots of those out there, you stand a much better chance of getting out of it without getting hurt or hurting someone else if your driving slowly. Be calm, pay attention, it's the coolest way to be and it can save your life. Being mobile is such an upgrade, it would be a pity to lose it. Good luck to you.
just relax no radio no phone no distractions don't try everything at once there r enough distractions out there.. try driving by yourself before you overload the car w friends
my advice i would give you is don't let nobody drive your car and dont drink and drive. and don't have too many people in your car. also don't show off with speeding and cutting cars off
Take it slow and remember to breathe. No really, breathe.
put your seat belt on, dont eat or drink and drive, pay attention to the road, watch out for people
dont speed...got my first ticket week after...parents were pretty pissed haha but it was all good
