Based on your experiences and knowledge what advice do you have for a senior (12th) about life in general?

This could include advice on jobs, college, money, love, what you wish you did differently, etc.Based on your experiences and knowledge what advice do you have for a senior (12th) about life in general?
Have fun, but dont screw around your first 2 years, because they will come back to bite you later....trust me. I fooled around my first degree, and now I am back for a second degree at 30+. It sucks that I could have been this seriouse when I was young. Dont get sucked into the party scene, the scene is much better when your 23 and making $$$$$$$. I had an internship interview at a large hospital and they asked me why i struggled in a Chem class 17 years earlier!!.Based on your experiences and knowledge what advice do you have for a senior (12th) about life in general?
live it up
The most important advice: discover what being human is REALLY all about as opposed to merely being another narcissist clone climbing the sociopath ladder to ';success';.

Life is a journey in search of true happiness....while you will find bits and pieces here, it will be in the afterlife when it will be obtained. Live life as you see it to the fullest while progressing forward. The journey will have pit falls and detours but do not be deterred.......you will overcome them and gain strength and wisdom from the pain. These will aid in your quest for happiness.

I do not have any idea what line of study you are going to pursue in college (and i wish you well too). Please try to include several courses in philosophy to help you learn to think logically and learn of the thoughts of those gone before (even if you disagree with them, you will be better able to discuss that too). It will enable you to move forward in the journey to happiness.

If you decide to take a year off before continuing your education, could i suggest you do do a thru hike of the Appalachian Trial....Doing so, will teach you much about yourself and make you a much deeper person.

The unexamined life is a life of pain and reoccuring problems. Therefore, learn while young to accurately analyze what you have done right and what you have done wrong.

1._ Don't give to others what you don't want for yourself.

2._ Give to others what they give you.

3. _ Take it easy(sense of humor).

4._ Focus(stay sharp).

5._ Keep it simple(but sometimes insist in complicating it).

6._ And never forget: If you cannot dazzle them, confuse them.
do not try to take a year off. it is great that year, but will make enrolling harder and something you might forget out or keeping pushing forward in life for who knows what reason. don't take a full schedule first year.take a class or two less if you can.
do what in your heart is real and right for you in ALL areas of your life at ALL times :)
always do what u think is right, what feels right. dont trick urself into doing something you know is wrong with convulted reason and what not. laugh every chance you get. be humble. accept everyone. talk to people. go for walks. love yourself.
